Since September 1, all new U.S. light vehicles are required with ESC (electronic stability control) or similar device to prevent vehicle skidding out of control on bends. Since five years ago, the Federal Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) initiated legislation, many new cars have been fitted with computer control of such things. So we use the car, may have most of the ESC.
